  • What is Your Prayer? – Philippians 3:1-11 • 10 Aug 2014 • In this passage Paul gives us a model of how to pray. It is a prayer that shows an attitude of thankfulness, a love for God, and a love for others. Do your prayers reflect these same qualities?
  • Who You Are! (In Christ) – Colossians 3:1-11 • 21 Sep 2014 • As believers we have a new life in Christ. Therefore set your mind and heart on what God’s mission is and then go do it. We, as image bearers and worshippers, are to align our purposes with God’s purposes and show Him to the world.

  • King Jesus: The Life-Long Learner – Luke 2:39-52 • 28 Dec 2014 • Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem and his parents found him in the temple listening and asking questions. • Jesus: King of Zion – Psalm 2 • 4 Jan 2015 • God has set a king over us – Jesus is our king. Jesus is ruling and reigning in heaven until His kingdom comes in full. Put away your idols and be useful for God’s glory and purpose. Your hope is not in your efforts, but in His righteousness.
  • The Blood of Jesus Propels our Faith – Hebrews 10:19-39 • 29 Mar 2015 • Hebrews 10:19-39 shows us that the blood of Jesus propels our faith. Because of the blood of Jesus, the lost are given a new heart, the found are made right with a Holy God, and our community is given the hope of a new world for those that persevere in faith to the end.
  • Know This: God is at Work – Ecclesiastes 11:1-10 • 26 Apr 2015 • There are so many things that we don’t know or understand and so much in life is meaningless. • Jesus: All in All – Colossians 1:15-23 • 10 May 2015 • Jesus is our all in all because He is before all things and in Him all things are held together. • Life, Death, Love – Psalm 49 • 6 Sep 2015 • God gives us life through His Son Jesus Christ, God gives us victory over death because of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and God gives us His steadfast Love, a new glorified body, and a promise of being forever in His presence.
  • We Were Made For This – Genesis 1-3 • 8 Nov 2015 • Last week we saw the first two acts in the greatest story ever told. Remember we are made to obey, work, and live a life of surrender in community with one another, because God created us in His image and finds pleasure in us.
  • The WORD of the LORD Provides – 1 Kings 17:2-6 • 5 Jun 2016 • The Lord knew exactly what Elijah needed and He knows exactly what we need as well. In His word He calls us to repentance and obedience and His word provides direction, protection, and life.
  • Radical Welcomers – Romans 15:1-7 • 26 Jun 2016 • Our one voice should say, “Welcome to the Lord’s table, welcome to the gospel, welcome to God’s kingdom. Come to church with me and hear the Good News about the great hope I have.” We must be radical welcomers. What makes you feel welcome? When you are loved, accepted, and encouraged in the body of Christ.
  • Becoming God’s Dwelling Place – Ephesians 2:11-22 • 31 Jul 2016 • As Christians we are reconciled to God, adopted into His family, and have access to the Father through Christ. We are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Holy Spirit—individually as well as corporately.

  • Jesus, the Boy – Luke 2:41-52 • 1 Jan 2017 • Where’s your focus? It could be on the physical aspects of a situation, or it could be on loving God, just as Jesus’ focus was. Jesus was in the temple teaching as a boy and his focus was on the spiritual. It was on obeying and loving God.
  • He Knows Your Story – John 4:39-42 • 5 Mar 2017 • Jesus reached out to the woman at the well and said, I know your story and I still love you. He says come to Me and He will quench your thirst. In Jesus’ day it was the Greeks: “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” At that time, Christ and his disciples were the ones responsible for making Christ known. But now, in our day, the calling is ours. Who among us needs to see Jesus?
  • Sanctification by Relationships – Ephesians 4:30-32 • Rev. Lee H. Ferguson • 12 Apr 2015 • God uses our relationships for our sanctification – Our relationship with Him, ourselves, and each other. Be careful how you live because your sin grieves the Holy Spirit. • – Proverbs 14:1-15 • Yohanes Halim • 13 Mar 2016 • Seeking wisdom is an old human activity. We should seek Godly wisdom from the Scriptures and church, not ungodly wisdom from human thought and experience without thought of God. • Imitation: A Key to Rejoicing – Philippians • Don Mountan • 24 Jul 2016 • Paul tells us to imitate him. He rejoices over partnership with others in the gospel, the proclamation of the gospel, faith in Christ, and knowing Christ. Rejoice is a verb—it is an outward expression of an inward joy. He is telling us to “go public” with our joy. To share it with others. Do you rejoice with Paul?
